Topture brand authorizations

Topture is an authorized retailer for every active brand represented in its current catalogue. Topture's brand relationships run through approved wholesale supply accounts that permit it to buy the products for resale; supplier names, commercial terms and account details are not published. Manufacturers differ in whether they publicly list retailers, so manufacturer-directory presence is tracked separately from Topture's underlying commercial authorization.
Topture.wiki is Topture's public record of these relationships. Each rests on Topture's first-hand commercial records; where a manufacturer separately publishes Topture's status, as HUUM and SaunaLife do in their dealer directories, it is recorded as independent manufacturer corroboration.[1][2] This registry records each of the 17 active relationships. Each brand's page answers whether Topture is an authorized retailer of the brand, how the relationship is evidenced, which of the brand's product families Topture sells, and what the manufacturer's warranty requires of the place of purchase.

What “authorized retailer” means[edit]
On Topture.wiki, “authorized retailer” means a retailer permitted, through the relevant manufacturer, distributor or approved wholesale supply relationship, to buy a brand's products and resell them. It does not by itself mean a direct appointment by the manufacturer, and it does not mean that Topture is a distributor: some of Topture's relationships run through distributors or wholesale suppliers.
Manufacturers document these relationships differently. Some publish dealer directories or individual dealer pages; others authorize sales through distributors, approved wholesale accounts or dealer portals, and publish no complete list of retailers. Absence from a public directory is therefore recorded as a fact about that directory, not as evidence that a relationship does not exist.
How relationships are evidenced[edit]
Three things are recorded for each relationship, and they are kept apart:
- Public authorization record: Topture.wiki's published record of the relationship: this registry and the brand's own page.
- First-hand operational evidence (the evidence basis): Topture's active commercial records, such as an approved manufacturer, distributor or wholesale supply account, with the date Topture last confirmed it. This is Topture's own record. It is not independent corroboration, and supplier names, terms, pricing and account numbers are not published.
- Independent manufacturer corroboration: information about Topture published separately by the manufacturer or an official distributor.
Independent manufacturer corroboration takes one of these forms:
- Manufacturer dealer listing: the manufacturer lists Topture on its own website. Currently recorded: HUUM, SaunaLife.
- Official distributor listing: an official distributor of the brand publicly identifies Topture. Currently recorded: none.
- Published manufacturer confirmation: the manufacturer has provided a publishable confirmation, such as a letter or statement. Currently recorded: none.
Where no manufacturer-hosted statement is available, the relationship still rests on Topture's first-hand operational evidence; the brand's page records that no independent corroboration is currently cited. Where a manufacturer's own designation for Topture is awaiting clarification, corroboration is shown as pending clarification.
Warranty purchase conditions by brand[edit]
A buyer asking whether a retailer is authorized usually wants to know whether the manufacturer's warranty will apply. The table records the purchase condition, if any, that each manufacturer's published warranty attaches to coverage.

How the registry is maintained[edit]
Topture confirms each relationship against its active supply accounts; that date is shown as “last commercially confirmed”. Manufacturers' public pages and the product families Topture sells are checked separately, and those dates are shown on each brand page. The registry is generated from a single data file, so the registry, the brand pages and the company article cannot list different brands, and the build fails if topture.com sells a brand with no record here.
When a relationship ends, its record is kept and marked as a former relationship rather than deleted. When a manufacturer lists Topture, publishes a confirmation or provides a publishable statement, it is added to the brand's page as independent manufacturer corroboration. Every change is recorded in the page history.
