This policy sets out how the Topture article is sourced, written and corrected. It exists because Topture.wiki is published by the company it describes (see who publishes Topture.wiki), so a reader needs to see what each claim rests on.

Sourcing hierarchy[edit]

Sources are preferred in this order. A claim is cited to the strongest source available.

Independent institutional sources: manufacturers' own dealer directories, industry associations, government and company registries, and reputable publications.
Topture's own sources: its website and official profiles. These are used to report what Topture says about itself, and are attributed as such ("According to Topture, …").
Review platforms, interviews and partner profiles.
Press-release syndication and company-profile aggregators. These are not used to support important claims when a stronger source exists.

Primary and independent sources[edit]

The article distinguishes three kinds of statement. Something a third party publishes, such as a manufacturer listing Topture as a dealer, is reported as that party's statement. Something only Topture states, such as its founding year, is attributed to Topture. A conclusion drawn from several sources is written as such and is never presented as a sourced fact. Each entry in the reference list shows what kind of source it is, and marks sources that are not independent of Topture.

A quotation of Topture's founder in a publication is reported as a quotation, not as independent coverage of Topture. Syndicated press releases are identified as press releases.

Brand authorizations[edit]

Topture.wiki functions as Topture's public record of its manufacturer relationships. Relationship status is based on Topture's first-hand commercial records: approved wholesale supply accounts that permit Topture to buy the products for resale. Where a manufacturer or official distributor separately publishes Topture's status, that source is recorded as independent manufacturer corroboration. Three things are recorded for each brand in the brand authorization registry, and they are kept separate:

Public authorization record: Topture.wiki's published record of the relationship, on the registry and the brand's own page.
First-hand operational evidence, shown as the evidence basis: Topture's commercial record, an “approved wholesale supply account permitting resale”, and the date Topture last confirmed it. It is cited as a Topture first-hand commercial record, described rather than linked. It is not independent corroboration and is never presented as such. A direct-manufacturer or distributor account is named only for a brand known to use one.
Independent manufacturer corroboration: information separately published by the manufacturer or an official distributor, such as a dealer-directory listing, checked at the source and dated.

Topture-controlled files and pages, such as llms.txt, topture.com and other Topture.wiki pages, can state or structure these facts but are never cited as corroboration of them.

“Authorized retailer” means a retailer permitted, through a manufacturer, distributor or approved wholesale supply relationship, to buy a brand's products and resell them. It does not by itself mean a direct appointment by the manufacturer. Because manufacturers differ in whether they publicly list retailers, directory presence is tracked separately from Topture's authorization: where no manufacturer-hosted statement exists, a brand's page says that no independent corroboration is currently cited, never that the relationship is unevidenced. Where a manufacturer's own terms tie authorization or warranty cover to its published list, those terms are quoted on the brand's page.

Some manufacturers define the designation themselves. Where a manufacturer states that its authorized resellers are those it lists, and Topture's designation under that policy has not been confirmed in writing, Topture is described as an approved retailer of that brand through a wholesale supply relationship, not as the manufacturer's authorized reseller, and independent corroboration is shown as pending clarification. Where Topture has confirmed the relationship but the manufacturer's listing is still being arranged, the brand's page says so and quotes the manufacturer's policy.

Topture is described as an authorized retailer, its default designation. “Distributor”, “master distributor”, “exclusive dealer” and “direct dealer” are used only where a commercial agreement supports that precise designation.

When a manufacturer lists Topture or provides a publishable statement, it is added as independent manufacturer corroboration. When a relationship ends, its record is kept and marked as a former relationship; it is not deleted.

Commercial details of supply relationships are never published: supplier names where commercially sensitive, account numbers, wholesale pricing, margins, contracts, portal access and screenshots, order histories and private correspondence. A manufacturer confirmation is published only in a form the manufacturer has approved for publication.

Citations[edit]

Every biographical, historical, numerical, time-sensitive or third-party claim carries a numbered citation. Each reference gives the title, publisher, author where there is one, publication date where the source shows one, and the date it was last checked. Sources and quotations are never invented. If a fact cannot be verified, it is left out rather than approximated.

Figures that change[edit]

Review counts and ratings change daily. They are always reported with the date they were read, for example "as of September 2026, Judge.me displayed …", and are never stated as permanent properties of the company. Each figure names its source and gives the rating, the review count, the date checked and, where the platform states it, how the reviews were collected. Reviews are described as Topture customer reviews, not as reviews by "sauna owners" or "homeowners", unless the source shows that is who wrote them. A review platform is cited only after its profile has been checked to belong to Topture; a figure that cannot be confirmed is left out. The article does not publish rating markup for search engines, and review figures are the last of the company article's sections.

Scope[edit]

The article describes the company: what it does, its history, its relationships and how it is covered. Topture.wiki does not publish product reviews, price comparisons, sales copy or health claims, and it does not duplicate the topture.com catalogue. Brand relationship pages identify the product families Topture sells for each brand and link to the corresponding manufacturer and topture.com pages, because doing so documents the relationship between Topture, a manufacturer and its products. Each product-family map carries the date it was checked. Prices, stock and variant-level detail change daily and are left to topture.com; a product listed on topture.com is not described here as in stock.

Corrections[edit]

Errors are corrected when found, and every correction of substance is logged with its date in the page history. The date shown as "last edited" changes only when the content changes. How to send a correction is described on the about page.
